Grand Lodge

On the first Friday in June, Jennifer and I drove down to Salem to attend the installation of the new Grand Lodge officers. She helped escort in the new Grand Lodge officers.
Besides Jennifer, there was the GWA and GWAA of Rainbow, two councilors of the DeMolay State Corps, and the GBHQ and Miss Oregon Job's Daughter.
Bryan meanwhile took his last trip in Australia. They spent a weekend in Kalbarri, where amongst other things they went canoeing. Then it was time for finals and getting ready to come home.

California Grand Assembly

This weekend, Jennifer traveled to Fresno California for the annual convention of California Rainbow. Several Oregon Grand Officers also attended, and watched their California counterparts give reports on their activities for the year, perform talent, initiate new members, and many other fun stuff.
Jennifer enjoyed catching up with Grand Officers she had met in previous years, as well as visiting with other out-of-state Rainbow officers as well, like her friend Morgan who is now GWA of Georgia Rainbow.
We rented a mini-van and drove down Friday night with a couple of girls from Cherry Assembly and their mom. We drove back Monday night.

Western Australia

When not in class, Bryan has been exploring the area around Perth with his classmates. They went out to Penguin Island Conservation Park, home to the largest colony of Little Penguins in Western Australia.
They have also tried surfing, sailing, and learning to play the didgeridoo.
