Disneyland

After Napa we headed down to the Disneyland resort for a few days.  We stayed at the Grand Californian.  We had a great room.  The balcony overlooked the parking lot, but you could see the Disneyland Hotel across the street, and our door overlooked the lobby.

The lagoon in Paradise Pier had been drained to prepare for a new night show, World of Color.

  

Today we spent a soggy day at the Disneyland resort with some girls from the Temecula Bethel and their Guardian.  Tomorrow we'll head back to Oregon.

California Official Visit

Tonight we attended an OV by the California GG and AGG in Napa. It was a joint meeting of four Bethels, so there were forty girls in the closing cross. We enjoyed visiting some of the BG's and Deputies we had met last year. Jennifer enjoyed visiting with Miss California.

And two PHQ's of the Napa Bethel she met last year.

Bethel Installations and Ceremonies

Saturday night, Jennifer attended the installation of Bethel 4 in Portland.

Tuesday night was a sad night for Bethel 11. 

One of our Council members passed away over the weekend, so the Daughters performed a memorial ceremony to honor him, instead of our regular meeting.

Tonight Jennifer was honored to be Installing Officer for Bethel 81 in Canby. It was the first time she had ever done the part, and she did a great job.

Bethel and Shrine Installations

Yesterday, we attended installations for Bethel 67 in Portland and the Shrine in Wilsonville. Jennifer and the HQ of Bethel 1 were introduced in the East at Bethel 67.

Jennifer joined 22 Daughters from multiple Bethels in a closing cross for the Shriners.

Bryan joined with several DeMolay to form an honor guard.

Today we attended the Installation of the officers of Bethel 66 in Tigard. Jennifer was introduced with the Honored Queens of Bethels 1, 67, and 81.

Bryan helped the DeMolay state officers with the Rose Ceremony.
