Masonic Youth

Bryan and Jennifer have been spending the first couple of weeks of September attending DeMolay and Job's Daughters meetings. Jennifer has visited Bethels 66 and 67, and was Senior Princess for an initiation at Bethel 10.
This weekend we hosted a sleepover for Bethel 67, and tonight she helped Bethel 4 with an initiation. Bryan is continuing to serve as Master Councilor for Chapters in Tigard and Milwaukie, and, as State Senior Councilor, attended an Official Visit at Peninsula Chapter and a leadership training at DeMolay International in Kansas City.
I’ve been attending OV’s and other Grand Lodge events.  Earlier this month, Bryan and I drove to Grants Pass for an Occasional Grand Lodge, and stopped in North Bend so Bryan could serve as Installing Officer for Tioga Chapter's fall installation.

WOFAB

On Friday we loaded up the RV, picked up some DeMolay, and headed down to Cottage Grove for the Weekend of Friendship and Brotherhood.
The boys played sports and games.
Like softball, soccer, capture the flag, and tug of war.
On Saturday night, we celebrated Bryan's birthday.
We took a picture this morning before heading out.

DeMolay Leadership Conference

On Wednesday, Jennifer was awarded 8 medals for her Supreme Session arts and crafts entries. Thursday she attended the Supreme Bethel meeting, then cheered on Miss Oregon at the Miss International Job's Daughters Pageant. Meanwhile, Bryan and I were at the Milwaukie Nickel Arcade, for a DeMolay activity.
Before the final ceremonies of Supreme Session, most of the members from Oregon gathered for dinner.
While Susan and Jennifer made their way home from Supreme Session in Colorado, Bryan and I drove up to a camp in Washington near Mount Rainier. He will be spending the week working as Junior Staff at DLC.

Supreme Session

Last Thursday, we attended the annual Salem Masonic Youth Night. As before, it was held at the Gilbert House Children’s Museum.
Sunday, while Susan and Jennifer drove to Job's Daughters Supreme Session in Colorado, Bryan and I manned a cotton candy booth at a fair in Sellwood Park in Portland to raise money for Milwaukie DeMolay.
Upon their arrival in Colorado Springs, the girls were met by a thunderstorm.
Today, while Jennifer competed in ritual at Supreme Session, Bryan obligated two new boys into the Tigard-Orenomah Chapter of DeMolay.
Here is Jennifer with the rest of the Oregon Ritual Team.

Summertime

This last week, we're been enjoying Masonic summer activities. On Tuesday, Bryan attended a meeting of the Tigard DeMolay Chapter. After the meeting, the boys played with foam swords in the parking lot. On Wednesday Susan was installed as Associate Conductress in the Tigard Eastern Star Chapter. On Friday we hosted a BBQ for the Tigard DeMolay Chapter, and on Saturday we attended a picnic for members of the Milwaukie Lodge and concordant bodies.
Of course, we don’t just do Masonic stuff.  Bryan continues to be active in Boy Scouts, and last Monday attended an outdoor meeting.
