More Cast Life

Normally Disney has a special night every year to honor those who have reached milestones in their employment. Because of the pandemic they were cancelled in 2020 and 2021, so this spring Disney held several to catch up. Last Sunday Susan and I picked up an extra shift. We stood on Main Street and cheered as the attendees entered the park.

Last Monday after work I visited the new stables at Fort Wilderness. I rode the monorail to the TTC, then a ferry boat to MK, then a cruiser to Fort Wilderness.

Bryan started working part time at the shop in All Star Movies last year. Lately he's been giving his shifts away while he is in Bend, but this weekend he was here. We went by to visit him Saturday night. 

On Sunday Bryan had his preview of Cosmic Rewind. He took Jenn and some friends. This morning I had my official preview, and I took Bryan and some of his friends.

Around the parks

While I was working and riding Cosmic Rewind, Jennifer was attending the Dapper Day events at Epcot. In the afternoon she spent some time at Magic Kingdom.

On Sunday she went to Dapper Day at Hollywood Studios.

Monday night some friends came to town, so on Tuesday we went to Epcot. We checked out the Flower & Garden Festival, and had lunch at the new Space 220 restaurant.

Wednesday evening we went to Magic Kingdom. 

Thursday they went to Hollywood Studios. I joined them after my shift was over. Some of us did Rise of the Resistance at park close.

Yesterday morning Jenn and I went with them to Animal Kingdom. Disney is still not doing character meets, and the cavalcade at Animal Kingdom is via boat.
