Graduation

Yesterday while Jennifer stayed in Pendleton, we traveled to Salem for Bryan’s graduation from ORCA. It was held at the Salem convention center. Bryan was recognized for his achievements and gave a speech.
Last night, we went to Keizer for the installation of the Grand Bethel. Bryan led the DeMolay in the Rose Ceremony for the new Grand Bethel Honored Queen.
Jennifer was installed as a Rainbow Grand Officer at the end of Grand Assembly.  

Grand Chapter & Grand Assembly

On Sunday afternoon, Bryan traveled out to Pendleton to address the opening of the Grand Chapter of Oregon Eastern Star.

Wednesday night he returned with Susan and Jennifer to attend the installation of the new Worthy Grand Matron and Patron.Following Grand Chapter, Susan, Bryan, and Jennifer stayed in Pendleton for Oregon Rainbow's Grand Assembly. Last night was the formal opening, and Bryan addressed the gathering as the SMC of DeMolay.

Today Jennifer was selected as Grand Representative to California.

International Supreme Council

On Wednesday, Bryan flew to Grand Rapids Michigan to represent Oregon at the annual meeting of the International Supreme Council of DeMolay.

He had a great time visiting with Jurisdictional Officers from all over the nation. The boys discuss the state of DeMolay and voted on legislation for the Supreme Council.

This is a photo of the jurisdictional officers of Region VIII (West Coast). Saturday the new Supreme Council officers were installed. Bryan flew home this morning.

Masonic Youth

Tuesday night, Tigard DeMolay held their regular meeting. Jenn made the boys cookies.

Sunday night Tigard Chapter attended the installation of Bethel 10 in Milwaukie. Bryan led a team of boys in the Rose Ceremony for the new Honored Queen.

Tonight Jennifer helped Bethel 67 of Portland with an initiation.

Grand Lodge

On the first Wednesday of June, Susan and I attended the Grand Master's Banquet to kick off Grand Lodge. This year it was held in Bend. Thursday morning, Bryan addressed all those attending the public opening as State Master Councilor of DeMolay.

I did my bit as Grand Swordbearer, and Jennifer visited with other Rainbow Girls. Thursday night we attended another banquet. It was Hawaiian themed.

Friday afternoon we all attended the installation of the new Grand Master. Both kids helped escort in the new Grand Lodge officers and their wives, and Bryan presented the new Grand Master with a gift from Oregon DeMolay.
