Last days

 

Tuesday night we spent some time at the Kidani Village pool, Samawati Springs. It’s a nice pool with a fairly long slide and a water play area for younger kids. 

On Wednesday, we visited Animal Kingdom. This is a beautiful park, very lushly landscaped and with lots of small details to look at, but a little light on rides. I really wanted to watch the bird show, but the timing didn't work out. In the afternoon, the kids returned to Typhoon Lagoon, while Susan and I drove around, checking out different areas of Disney World.

  

After dinner the kids and I returned to Animal Kingdom to ride Expedition: Everest at night, then went back to the hotel to use their night vision goggles to view the animals in the dark.

On Thursday, the kids spent the morning at DisneyQuest, then met us at Epcot. In the evening we returned to the Animal Kingdom Lodge for dinner, then spent some time looking around the Kidani Village complex. We headed to the airport early Friday morning for our flight home.
