More Receptions

We've been attending a lot of Masonic receptions lately. Last week we drove to Eugene to attend the Hawaiian themed reception for Worthy Grand Patron of Oregon Eastern Star. Above is Jennifer with the Grand Worthy Advisor and the Grand Bethel Honored Queen.
Bryan presented the WGP with a gift from Oregon DeMolay.
Saturday night we attended the reception for the Grand Worthy Advisor at the Salem Scottish Rite. Jennifer won an award for promotion of Oregon Rainbow.
Tonight we went to the Supreme Bethel Honored Queen’s reception at Bethel 1 in Portland.

Tigard Installation

It was another busy weekend. Friday night, Tigard DeMolay held its installation of officers. Bryan was installing officer.
Jennifer was installed again as Chapter Sweetheart. On Saturday night, we attended a reception for Oregon's Grand Master at the Wilsonville Shrine Center. Bryan represented Oregon DeMolay, and presented the Grand Master with a gift.
On Sunday we attended a Table Lodge, also in Wilsonville, with members of Oregon Rainbow and the Grand Lodge officers.

Rainbow Installation

Today Jennifer was installed as Worthy Advisor of Martha Washington Rainbow Assembly at Friendship Lodge in Portland. We were very pleased that so many came to watch.
Bryan led the Tigard DeMolay in the crowning ceremony.
Afterward everyone enjoyed refreshments.

SGIG Class, Paintball & Camping

The last weekend in August, Bryan led members of Oregon DeMolay in putting on the initiatory degrees in honor of the Sovereign Grand Inspector General of the Oregon Scottish Rite.
For Labor Day we headed to southern Oregon to play paintball with members of the Grants Pass DeMolay, and camped at a state park near Reedsport.
On Thursday night, Milwaukie DeMolay obligated a new member, and read the petition of another. We then installed a new Master Councilor, as well as three other officers.

DLC & Jobie Jamboree

Early in the month, Bryan attended the DeMolay Leadership Camp near Mt Rainier Washington, then a Boy Scout Camp at Merriweather on the Oregon Coast.
While Bryan was finishing DLC, Jenn went down to Newburg for a Rainbow Grand Officer retreat.
Last week, Jennifer & Susan flew to Wisconsin to attend Jobie Jamboree, the annual session of Job's Daughters in Wisconsin.

Relay for Life

On Saturday, we drove up to St Helens to help the DeMolay Chapter there with a Relay for Life event.
Last weekend we were there so Bryan could install their Councilors into office.
Tonight we attended the annual Masonic Youth night at the Gilbert House in Salem with members of the Tigard and Milwaukie DeMolay chapters.

WOFAB

Saturday and Sunday we attended the Weekend of Friendship and Brotherhood, an annual Oregon DeMolay campout. We traveled to Eugene and stayed in the field next to the Eugene Lodge. The boys played baseball, made foam swords, and had sword battles. After dinner Saturday night, they played capture the flag.
On the Tuesday before WOFAB, Tigard Chapter initiated a new boy into DeMolay.
Today Susan took Bryan and Jennifer and several other members of Tigard DeMolay to a dozen 7-11's to enjoy free slurpees.
