Purple Party & Initiation

In April Bethel 11 held elections, to determine who was going to be the line officers for next term. Jennifer was elected Honored Queen and a Grand Bethel Delegate. On the first Saturday in May we had a Purple Party, and invited girls who we hoped were interested in joining our Bethel.
On the first Monday in May, I started working for the Department of Transportation in Beaverton. We moved the RV over to a park in Wilsonville so I could sleep there during the week. On the 5th, Bryan’s troop held a Court of Honor. He earned several merit badges.
Last night, with the help of Bethel 1 of Portland, Bethel 11 initiated three new members. Jennifer did three Messenger parts - 1st, 2nd, & 5th.

Mystery Trip

Monday we traveled to Portland again to help Bethel 1 initiate a new girl. Jennifer did 1st and 5th Messenger from memory, and read 3rd and 4th. The meeting was also an official visit, so the Vice Grand Guardian and Vice Associate Grand Guardian were there, as well as Miss Oregon Job's Daughters. The Daughters of Bethel 1 gave Jennifer a gift for coming over and helping them.
Because Jennifer has visited Bethel 1 several times and helped out with initiations, this weekend they invited her to go on a Mystery Trip with them. The girls visited the Tillamook Cheese Factory and the beach at Seaside.
While Jenn was on the mystery trip, the rest of us attended a reception for Miss Oregon Job’s Daughters at Gresham Lodge.
